SS Social Co. was built from two different perspectives with one shared belief: local businesses deserve great marketing, too.
For Sarah, marketing has always been more than a career path, it’s what she studied, what she built her professional experience around, and what she genuinely loves doing. After earning her degree in marketing, Sarah spent two years working in corporate marketing for a Fortune 500 company, gaining firsthand experience in how established brands approach content, messaging, strategy, and connecting with their audiences.
At the same time, she began turning her creativity toward something more personal. Sarah started visiting local restaurants, creating videos, sharing her experiences on social media, and discovering just how powerful authentic content could be for the businesses in her own community.
Josh’s perspective comes from the other side of the table. Growing up in a family-owned local restaurant, he saw firsthand what it takes to build a business that becomes part of a community. From working in the restaurant to helping manage its social media presence, Josh learned that small-business owners are often expected to do everything, serve their customers, manage their teams, run their operations, and somehow find the time to market themselves online.
Our Story
Together, we saw an opportunity to combine Sarah’s professional marketing and content experience with Joshua’s understanding of local business ownership and operations.
That became SS Social Co.
We created SS Social Co. to give local companies access to the kind of thoughtful, creative, and strategic social media presence that larger brands have dedicated teams to build, without losing the personality that makes a local business special.
